The Arts in View program is an initiative by the Bethel Arts organization to assist Bethel artists in finding locations to exhibit and sell their work.
For the creative community, the program provides short-term exhibit space to show and sell their art.
For local businesses, the program will help to stimulate local buying.
For the community, the program will provide free access to art and artists.
Program Requirements:
- The program is open to all artists 18 years old and up.
- In order to participate in the program, the artist must submit an application (see below). All applications will be reviewed and accepted by the property or business owner.
- If accepted, the artist and property owner or business owner will agree to terms and sign an exhibit agreement.
- If your application is accepted into the Arts-In-View program there’s a non-refundable $25 administrative fee to be paid to Bethel Arts Inc. prior to signing the exhibit agreement.
- The exhibit must be family-friendly so that all members of a family can enjoy.
- Selected artists will participate in the program for a minimum of 3 months.
- Artist must have their own resources to install their exhibit.
- Artists will display their biography, with contact information, and a list of all the pieces
including the title, size, medium and price. - Artist is encouraged to host an exhibit opening, create marketing materials (i.e., press release, postcards, posters), and market their exhibit.
- Bethel Arts will promote the exhibit through their website, email and social media.
- The participating artist will donate 20% of their proceeds from their sales to Bethel Arts to support the program.
